The Hercílio Luz Bridge is one of the icons of Florianópolis, known for its impressive architecture and historical importance. It is the longest suspension bridge in Brazil, at 821 meters. In 1992, the bridge was declared part of the historical, artistic and architectural heritage of Florianópolis. The Florianópolis Museum offers a perspective on the history, memory, present, and future of the city through tangible and intangible culture, using programs focused on preservation, research, communication, interactivity, education, and culture. The museum is managed by Sesc Santa Catarina.
