Option #1: Centro histórico, Ponte Hercílio Luz e Museu Florianópolis
The Historic Center of Florianópolis, known for its rich cultural and architectural heritage, is a fascinating place to explore. It offers an unmissable cultural experience with the Casa da Alfândega, the Miramar Memorial, Praça XV de Novembro and the Florianópolis Museum. The Hercílio Luz Bridge is one of the icons of Florianópolis, known for its impressive architecture and historical importance. It is the longest suspension bridge in Brazil, at 821 meters. In 1992, the bridge was declared part of the historical, artistic and architectural heritage of Florianópolis. The Florianópolis Museum, managed by Sesc Santa Catarina, offers a perspective on the history, memory, present, and future of the city through tangible and intangible culture, using programs focused on preservation, research, communication, interactivity, education, and culture. In this visit we will explore much of what the museum has to offer, which has a rich technological heritage. Afterwards, we will take a panoramic tour of the XV Square, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Customs Square and the Hercílio Luz Bridge. If possible, there will be brief stops at these main points to take pictures.
